Joseph D'Igalo

D’Igalo began his career in animation at Walt Disney Productions in 1930, where he worked on the Silly Symphonies and the Mickey Mouse series. Three years later, he moved to Walter Lantz Productions and helped with the creation of the Oswald the Rabbitt series. In 1935, he changed Lantz’s studio for Leon Schlesinger Productions, where he worked on the Merrie Melodies series in Frank Tashlin’s unit. In 1938, he left the studio and found employment at Fleischer Studios, where he worked on Fleischer’s feature films, Gulliver’s Travels (1939) and Mr. Bug Goes to Town (1941).
